Hi Sandro, I completed the Buenos Aires Marathon yesterday. I did very well, 3:43. Shaved 7 minutes from my last year’s race. The most important thing is that I felt great during the race. My pace in every 5K did fluctuate between 5:19 and 5:17 per km. I’m very happy. The plan proved to be great.

Sandro, I just wanted to say thank you! I ran the Eugene Half marathon today and ran better than I could have imagined: 1:38:00. My goal was around 1:45. I emailed Sandro a few months back about which plan to choose, and he was so kind to help me select the sub-4-hour plan. I ran my PR this weekend after a 10-year hiatus from marathons. I was at 4:11 (a 6 min PR!). I really enjoyed the training and appreciated mixing workouts the way he did. Next up is a half-marathon in May.

I am 46 years old and took up running 5 years ago. On November 13th, I completed a 20-week 10K plan that was diligently developed by Sandro to the last detail following extensive interaction and discussion. I have been using running plans and getting constant support from Sandro Sket for different distances, but the half marathon is the distance I consistently focused on. By applying the schedule, I was able to improve my personal best year to year, from 1:48h in 2019 to 1:35h in 2022 (even though I went up one age category over the years). I have full trust in running plans for any distance and think I will use them in upcoming years as well.

I followed one of Sandro’s 16-week half-marathon training programs in preparation for my second race in that discipline. I really enjoyed the structure of the plan and feel that my performance gains ramped up compared to when I had programmed my own training. I felt strong throughout the race and was ecstatic to improve my PR by 7 minutes and achieve my goal of sub 90 minutes.
